Fast Healthy Protein Shake

Life has been a bit busy around here the last 2 weeks. My son and daughter in law were moving into a much needed renovated house prior to moving - Mom and dad to the rescue. I have been working 10-12 hours a day to get this in a place for them to move in. I love doing this work however, it is important (and even more important with the added work) that I get in my self-care and nutrition. I pack lunch, snacks and even dinner in case I am out longer than I planned.


Here is a quick go to for my mornings I am running out of the house. I don't do it everyday but it is a way for me to get 26-52gm of healthy protein in to start my day.

Whey Protein Shake

Ingredients

  • 1-2 scoops of Bluebonnet, Jay Robb or Sunwarrior Protein powder

  • 1 banana

  • 1 C frozen organic fruit

  • Water to mix

Instructions:

Place bananas, protein powder and frozen fruit in high powered blender. Add water to consistency you want. Blend - add more water as needed. I like mine like a frozen yogurt consistency. Enjoy!
