Total Body Dumbbell Workout

I love a good total body workout. This one is with weight but can also be done without weights. Push yourself just a bit. Maybe, just maybe up those weights just a little bit?

What to do:

  • Spend 3-5 minutes warming up. Jump Rope, do some jump squats, jumping jacks, hit the treadmill or elliptical for a few. It is important to warm the body up prior to starting a weight work out.

  • Perform each exercise. Moving from one exercise to the next with no rest between. Rest 1 minute between circuits. Complete all 3 circuits and repeat entire workout 3 times.

  • Spend 3 minutes in a cool down. Again on the treadmill at a very slow pace or just a walk around. Do some stretches of those arm, legs and calfs. A few downward dogs may stretch the legs and arms out a bit.
